The Columbus Clippers were in a position to win this one until absolute disaster struck. Clippers closer and top bullpen prospect Franco Aleman’s velocity was down, and then he shook out his hand before being removed mid-at bat with one out in the ninth inning.
Aleman's velocity was a bit down from the start(91-92). Last year during his dominant stretch, he was 94-97. His velocity has been down at times this year.
